On the neighboring property of their own Schwörer house, the Eisert family has stacked two FlyingSpaces on top of each other and set up two design vacation apartments in them. Their conclusion after the test living: „Just like at home“.
Set up ready to go
Today, the couple is happy to have built two FlyingSpaces – one large one downstairs with dimensions of 14.50 x 4.30 meters, kitchen-dining-living and two rooms as well as a terrace, and one upstairs with only one bedroom but a beautiful roof terrace with a distant view. The couple has tested itself how well it is suitable for a glass of Aperol Spritz in the evening sun. And it has experienced the great effect of the seating windows, which invite you to read and relax with a view of the garden. There is also such a cozy seating window in the children’s room with the space-saving built-in solutions. In order to give their offer the final touch, extensive test living was carried out. There still a bottle opener, there still a pillow…
„We wanted to offer our guests modern living comfort in a stylish and yet cozy ambience, just as we ourselves like to live on vacation,“ says Kerstin Herrmann.
The family knows from its own experience how important a clever room layout with plenty of storage space is for vacation homes. „The fact that SchwörerHaus has everything from a single source and from a single mold was an enormous relief for us. Where else can you get custom-fit furniture for a house like this?“ states Daniel Eisert. The built-in furniture comes from the Schwörer design joinery. Every centimeter is used. The degree of generosity that can be generated with clever planning even on a small living space was a surprise even for the vacation home-proven construction family.
The rooms of the Tiny Houses can be individually planned and equipped. As with the single-family house, the furnishing consultation for the living modules takes place in one of our three furnishing centers.
Turnkey or with own contribution possible
Depending on requirements, they come with installed sanitary fittings, kitchen equipment and even lighting. It is possible to move in with your own furniture on the same evening.
If you wish, this can also be reduced to „just“ conceding: on request, practical built-in furniture is already integrated by the in-house Schwörer design joinery.

Multifunctional Tiny House extension next to traditional brick house: it works and looks good too. The Affelski family’s FlyingSpace offers additional living space, can be used flexibly and adapted to changing living situations – as an office, senior apartment or teenage wing.
Some time ago, Torben and Andrea Affelski bought an old clinker house in Kerpen and renovated it lovingly: the exposed brickwork, the lattice windows and the front door in the shape of an arch. A separate entrance next to the main entrance leads to a granny apartment. The owner’s mother had lived there until then, but the living space for the family of five was slowly becoming a bit cramped as the space requirements of the three children increased. An extension was under discussion.
It came just at the right time that the mother also wanted to reorient herself. „We took this as an opportunity to tackle both the renovation of the granny apartment and the extension project together,“ says Torben Affelski. However, the family no longer wanted to do it themselves. This time, the remodeling work should to be done without much effort on the part of the owners.
The FlyingSpace extension also holds several options for the Affelski family. „First, we want to use the rooms as our office,“ says Torben Affelski. He handles the real estate business in there, while his wife takes care of financial consulting. „Finally, we have a quiet place for meetings. It no longer bothers us when the other person is on the phone next door,“ says Andrea Affelski happily. The financial expert finds it an advantage to work from home: „I’m more flexible in my time planning, I can leave briefly in between to pick up the kids somewhere or to run errands.“
Another advantage: The annex is far enough away from the main house so that the commercial office is accepted by all family members as an independent workplace. Customer contacts are also separated from family life.
In addition, the Affelski family has also made provisions for the future with the FlyingSpace extension. „One of the children could live in the annex at some point in the future, or we could put my mother-in-law in there if she ever needs care,“ says Andrea Affelski. „Or the two of us could move in there later and a child with family could live in the main house,“ adds her husband. For all eventualities, a complete independent living area with kitchen was prepared in the FlyingSpace annex.
Where the reception is set up today, an open kitchen and living area would be designed. To the side of this, in the second part of the extension, the bedroom would be placed, separated from the living area by the built-in wardrobe from the Schwörer Design joinery, which today already serves as a room divider between the reception and meeting area. Horizontal narrow window straps protect this area from insights. Cleverly planned: a shear wall with sanitary installation keeps the bathroom with shower and WC out of sight – trendy and space-saving at the same time.

Single-family homes
Single or two-storey, with gable, hip or flat roof, as an urban villa, country house or cube – we implement your individual single-family home for you.
Bungalows
A light, airy living ambience, direct access to the garden from all rooms – living on one level has its appeal. Bungalows are single-storey houses with many possibilities.
FlyingSpaces: Tiny Houses
FlyingSpaces or Tiny houses are high-quality modules that work as an entire mini house, single-room extension or even in combination.
Semi-detached houses
Semi-detached houses are a good alternative, when construction density is concerned. The construction of semi-detached and terraced houses is of interest for inner-city plots in particular.
Houses with an annex
Do you want a second, self-contained residential unit within your single-family home, so that you can rent it out or have grandparents or adult children in the house?
Multiple-family homes
Are you looking for a secure, long-term, low-risk investment? From a financial and strategic perspective, investment in a multiple-family home is worthwhile.
