The rock town of Pottenstein has another attraction: Matthias and Jürgen Neller’s FlyingSpace has been photographed almost as often as the castle on its hilltop high above the little town in Franconian Switzerland for several months now. The nice thing is that the FlyingSpace can be rented as a vacation home.
Especially at night, when the FlyingSpace presents itself against the backdrop of the illuminated castle rock, then the sight is particularly fascinating, finds Matthias Neller. „But the mini-bungalow is also a real eye-catcher during the day. Tourists and even locals often ask if they can visit the house,“ he says.

Since December 2019, a FlyingSpace with a white plaster facade and dark gray stone applications has stood at the end of Matthias Neller’s family estate below Pottenstein Castle. There, where the run for the chickens used to be. Despite its flat roof, it blends naturally into the mature neighborhood of gable-roofed houses.
